We at Bunkhouse are proud to build businesses with soul. It’s not only the right thing to do, and the most fun—it’s sustainable, profitable, and scalable.

About Bunkhouse

HOW IT ALL STARTED

Our story begins at a seedy motel on South Congress Avenue over 20 years ago. Liz Lambert, Bunkhouse founder, first purchased the former motor court and transformed it into Hotel San José. The success of our quintessentially Austin hotel, sparked a revitalization in the city’s now thriving South Congress district, and led to the launch of Bunkhouse Group, a hospitality company founded on the pillars of design, music, and community-driven experiences. Today, our celebrated portfolio of hospitality projects spans the U.S. and Mexico.
