We held our All Company Retreat in Austin February 1st – 3rd this year; yes, during the storm that caused many flights to be canceled. Hotel Magdalena was understanding and accommodating to our last-minute adjustments in room bookings. The hotel itself is beautiful; it has a relaxing and calming energy. The food in the Summerhouse restaurant, and for our meeting/conference catering, was great and exceeded expectations. The staff are friendly and as the host I really got to relax and be present with my group, knowing that the details were being taken care of. I would definitely be happy to book a company retreat at Hotel Magdalena again. I also think it would be a great destination for a girls weekend away, and will be keeping it in mind for that too.

We just held a 2-day, overnight offsite for our leadership team, and Hotel Magdalena was an ideal location. The meeting room was ideal to make us able to be productive all day, but also not feel trapped in a boring conference room. In the evening, we utilized the lawn for a cocktail party and lawn games, which was the perfect casual way for the team to get to better know one another. Service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the rooms were very comfortable and quiet. I would highly recommend Hotel Magdalena for any stay, especially if you want to be in one of the best areas of Austin.

Our team of 35 traveled from all over the country for a four-day event at the hotel. Their staff was unbelievably helpful, gracious, and professional. We had multiple meetings and catered events; all went off without a hitch. The accommodations and grounds are beautiful and within walking distance of all the hip spots. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Magdalena to anyone looking to host a corporate event.
