Jo's 19th Annual Chili Cook Off

For the past 19 years, Hotel San José and Jo’s Coffee have partnered to host our annual Chili Cook-Off + Benefit to warm up the winter for everyone in Austin. Proceeds raise money to support Free Lunch, which works to address food insecurity in our fair city. Amateur and professional culinary talent engage in a five-alarm battle for the prized chili pot. The day is also filled with chili-related festivities—a Quick Fire Competition, music from special guests and the Jo’s House Band, a Raffle, and more.

Entry is always free, so come enjoy live music and thrilling competition. If you want to eat, tasting wristbands are available on-site for purchase. You’ll get a sample of each chili along with one ticket to vote for your favorite.
