Hotel Genevieve offers unique indoor and outdoor spaces for hosting events in the heart of Louisville’s NuLu District. The crown jewel of our event spaces is our rooftop venue including indoor space that opens on to the outdoor space with fireplace across a total of 3,550 square feet, and a private dining room for up to 32 guests.

Bar Genevieve

Bar Genevieve, offers cocktails and light fare inspired by French street food and Mediterranean influences set against sweeping views of the city and the Ohio River. The natural light-filled space is loaded with toast-worthy accents, like a grand chandelier from Olde Good Things, hand-painted floors, and luxurious velvet curtains. The open-concept interior offers two large sections which can be curtained off for various configurations.

We happen to think it makes a perfect setting for out-of-the-box corporate gatherings. Be inspired by the beauty of Louisville and Kentucky in peaceful space above it, thanks to views that equal the quality of big blue-sky thinking. The impactful location is ideal for all day events—with the changing light and stunning views keeping you and your team motivated. And if the views aren’t enough, bites and beverages from our culinary team certainly help.

Lucky Penny

Lucky Penny, our semi-secret bar is open for cocktails and bar snacks late into the night. The intimate space offers a moody contrast to the rest of the hotel. With decadent details and ample sparkling accents, it harkens to the lineage of the disco ball that lies in Louisville.

Art Walk

Our expansive alleyway is the perfect open-air spot for whatever sprawling shindig you have in mind. Imagine the very best block party, wedding reception, mixer, market, fashion show, field day, etc. and we can make it happen. Even if you can’t imagine it, that’s exactly what this space is for. Consider it your black canvas right in front of the opposite of that—two stunning murals that provide a perfect backdrop to your big day.
