The tableside mozzarella cart is the first thing you’ll notice at Hypsi, a new all-day restaurant inside Hotel Daphne in the Heights. After you sink into your vintage velvet chair, your server will ask if you want it wheeled over, and you should say yes.

Fueled by the neighborhood’s rich and layered history, the 49-room hotel serves as an “extended living room” for both locals and travelers, with a library that doubles as a private event space for social events, a courtyard that makes guests feel like they’ve been transported to Europe, and chef Terrence Gallivan’s newest restaurant, Hypsi.

Hotel Daphne is best known for “A neighborhood guest room.” Dinner, lunch, or brunch at Hypsi. People-watching and appertivo on the patio.
