Global Sounds

With fans, travelers, and culture seekers pouring in from all over the world, Houston has become a global stage unlike anything we’ve ever seen. In the spirit of that international energy, we partnered with Ice House Radio to create something that matches the moment. Introducing Global Sounds, a DJ series hosted in Augustine Lounge.

Every Thursday during Houston’s soccer season, from 6 to 10 PM, the lounge transforms into an international musical journey, with rotating DJs curating sets that honor the sounds of the nations represented right here in Houston this summer. From Afrobeats and cumbia to dancehall and deep house, every week is a new destination.

Global Sounds is for the Houston local celebrating their city’s biggest moment, and for the international visitor who wants to hear something familiar or discover something new.
